Edmundo Cardenas, Jr. passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, surrounded by the love he so faithfully gave throughout his life. Born on February 15, 1955, Edmundo lived a life rooted in faith, devotion, and quiet strength.
Above all else, Edmundo loved the Lord with all his heart. His faith guided his steps, shaped his character, and brought him deep joy. He found comfort and inspiration in Christian music and cherished watching movies that reflected the life and love of the Lord. His faith was not only something he believed in, but something he lived out daily through kindness, humility, and service to others.
Edmundo was a devoted husband and a loving family man. He worked hard throughout his life, always providing for his family with dedication and pride. His strong work ethic and sense of responsibility were reflections of his deep love for those he cared for.
A proud member of the United States Marine Corps, Edmundo carried the values of honor, discipline, and commitment with him long after his service ended. He was also a man who loved freedom in its simplest forms—especially riding motorcycles, feeling the wind, and enjoying the open road.
Edmundo found happiness in life’s simple pleasures: sharing meals, especially his beloved Mexican food, and seeking out taco trucks that brought him joy and comfort. These moments, small yet meaningful, reflected his appreciation for life and togetherness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, parents, Marina Paiz and Edmundo Cardenas Sr.; his sisters, Marissa Gonzalez, Diana Padilla, and Gilda Cardenas; and his brothers, Fabian Cardenas and Miquel Gonzalez. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In keeping with Edmundo’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are currently planned.
Edmundo’s legacy lives on in his unwavering faith, his love for family, and the countless lives he touched with his gentle spirit. He will forever be remembered, cherished, and held close in the hearts of those who loved him.
