Edward Joseph Kasch, 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away at home on March 4, 2024.
Eddie, as he was known by those that loved him, was born on July 30, 1946, to Edward and Laura Kasch. While he was born in Jersey City, Eddie was raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, and was deeply proud of his Hoboken roots. Eddie attended Hoboken High School, Class of 1964. Throughout his life, Eddie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on cars, making baked ziti for his friends and family, great rock-and-roll music, and telling jokes. Eddie also had a deep love for dogs and cats.
Eddie was preceded in death by Kathy, his wife of 32 years, his parents Edward and Laura, and his little dog Shane, all of whom he missed dearly. He is survived by his sons, John O’Neill and Edward Goff, Daughter-In-Law, Mirna Sarceno, Son-In-Law, Kevin Nguyen, and many friends and family members that loved him.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eddie’s memory to Animal Protection Association in Jeffersonville, Indiana, so they may continue their work rescuing and sheltering cats.
