Obituary
Eleanor C. Harris, 88, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, May 12, 2023. She was born June 24, 1934 to the late William Garrett and Anna (Lewis) Chandler.
She was an accomplished artist and she enjoyed sketching and oil painting. She retired from the Greater Clark County School System.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Harris; her son, Bryan Harris; sister, Charlotte Jeffries; her great-granddaughter, Sianna Alford; and nephew, Clark Jeffries.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Lisa Harris Thalmann and Stephanie L. Roberts; grandchildren, Sian McNeary, Brandi Harris, David McNeary; nieces and nephew, Sheilah Smith (Bobby), Karen Ellis, Andre' Jeffries (Kathy), and a host of great-grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway on Monday, May 22 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a memorial service at 1:00. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
