Elizabeth "Betty" Adelaide Parker

Elizabeth Adelaide Parker, 93, formally from Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on January 31, 2023, at Silvercrest in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on July 31, 1929, in London, England, the daughter of William and 
Helena (Blockley) Bidwell. Elizabeth worked in the cafeteria at River Valley Middle School for many years and also worked for Stewart's Department Store for 35 years. She was a Christian by faith and enjoyed knitting and a good yard sale.

In addition to her parents Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Otis Parker. She is survived
by her sister, June Sylvia Garrard; nephew Tim Garrard; sister-in-law Mattie de Roin and family; niece, Carol Ann Braun and family. She was loved by many friends including Joann Wiseman, Donna & Mike and family, Susan(Jerry), Becky, Johnny, Pam, Laura and Barbara, Rachel and Dee, and Pat and Alan Bridgeman, from England.

Cremation was chosen and entrusted with Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville,Indiana 47130. Celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 5:30pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
