Elizabeth "Lizzie" Anna Bennett

A Funeral Mass for Elizabeth “Lizzie” Anna Bennett, 32, of Sellersburg, IN, will be held at 10 AM on Friday, April 8, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 320 N. Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-8 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville.  She passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022.     

Lizzie was born on August 1, 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was a loving mother to her children and a natural caregiver.   Lizzie was known for taking care of others before herself.  She was currently working as a registered nurse manager for America Renal Associates where she thrived with her patients and coworkers. Lizzie enjoyed travel and vacations with her children, she was an avid reader and loved coaching her daughters and their teammates in basketball, volleyball and softball. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Bennett; and her grandparents, Dick “Pop” Bennett, and Joe and Patricia Bobzien.

Lizzie is survived by her daughters, McKenna Mullen and Tinsley Mullen; her mother, Donna Yocum; her father, Tony Bennett (Tina); grandmother, Marie “Nana” Bennett; sisters, Katie Bechtold (Jamie) and Trish Armenta; two aunts, Theresa Hart (Blake) and Jackie Flanigan (Dion); niece, Addison Marie Bennett; two nephews, Gatlin Armenta and Bennett Armenta; and numerous cousins.
