Elvis Hardin Moss, Jr., age 60, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2024.
Born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, Elvis was the beloved son of the late Minnie and Elvis Moss. From a young age, he was deeply rooted in faith, nurtured by his involvement at 10th Street Missionary Baptist Church. Elvis was also an avid baseball player in his youth, a passion that remained with him throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Elvis Sr., and his siblings, Gwendolyn “Beana” Acton, James “Bubba” Acton, and Janel Anita Moss-Davis.
Elvis is survived by his loving children, daughter, Clara Sloan (George) and son, Jamin Roberson; his cherished siblings, Janice Moss, Georgia "Georgie" Moss, Charles Hatchett, and William "Bill" Moss; grandchildren, Grant Sloan, Delano Ray, Jonah Rucker, and Makenzie Whitaker.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home, located at 2515 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville. Funeral services celebrating Elvis's life will begin immediately following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
