Eric Michael Goetzinger

Funeral services for Eric Michael Goetzinger, 47, of Clarksville, Indiana, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM and on Saturday from 9-11 AM prior to the funeral.  He passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital.       

Eric was born on August 3, 1974 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  He graduated from Providence High School in 1992 and currently worked at Ford Kentucky Truck Plant. He was passionate about cars, working on them, driving them and talking about them.  He also enjoyed going to the gun range and was particularly proud of being “Papa” to his grandkids.  

Eric is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Nancy Lawson; a son, Michael Lawson; his mother, Leanne Kay Goetzinger; his father, Norbert Joseph Goetzinger; two siblings, Chip Goetzinger (Tina Ignatoski), Tim Goetzinger (Deann); two grandchildren, Emersyn, Owen; nine nieces and nephews; four aunts and two uncles.
