father.
Esmeralda was an extremely warm, loving, caring, fun-hearted, and talented woman.
Mene loved her family immensely and would move heaven and earth to help the people
she loved. Throughout her lifetime, she ventured through many jobs and endeavorsfrom
working in the fields as a migrant worker, protesting with Cesar Chavez and the
United Farm Workers Movement for equal rights for migrant workers, and running
multiple successful businesses to help support her family. Besides having an excellent
mind for business, her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Esmeralda loved to cook and play casino games on her phone. She enjoyed listening to
traditional Mexican music, oldies (Brenton Wood Songs especially), and Warren G's
"Regulators." She LOVED watching zombie movies, especially the B-ones: the cheesier,
the better! She was very easy to talk to and always had a kind word to share and a smile
on her face when she saw you. She was an exemplary wife, great mother, extraordinary
grandmother, and an amazing friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Eufracio Garcia, her Mother, Maria De
Jesus Garcia, her brother, Baldomero Garcia, and her grandchild, Hunter
Xavier Gibson. She is survived by her husband, Juan Quiroz, her children Juan
(Johnny) Quiroz Jr, Linda (Baby) Quiroz, Michael Quiroz, Jennifer Gonzalez,
and her sixteen grandchildren-Mark Anthony, Joseph Juan, Michael Xavier,
Arianna M, Lluvia Madison, Alexandria Quiroz, Anthony Constantino, David
Edward, Sarai M, Nevada Mireya, Esmeralda Lily, Anakin Xavier, Macy-Paige,
Evan Michael, Isabella Celeste, and Easton Michael.
