Evey Jane Andres

On May 8, 2024, the world welcomed an angel into the arms of Mackenzie Martin and Samuel Andres, their beloved first child and daughter, Evey Jane Andres. Though her time with us was brief, her impact was profound. Evey was born silently, a stillborn, yet her presence touched the hearts of all who knew of her.

Evey was a beacon of hope and joy, eagerly awaited and deeply cherished by her parents. Mackenzie and Sammy had dreamed of a future filled with laughter, love, and the pitter-patter of little feet. Though their dreams were shattered by the sorrow of Evey's passing, their love for her remains eternal.

In her brief existence, Evey brought immeasurable love and unity to her family. She will forever hold a special place in their hearts, her memory a source of comfort and solace in times of darkness.

Survivors include her parents, Mackenzie and Sammy; maternal grandparents, Stephanie and Chris Martin “Nana and Papa”; paternal grandmother, Yvette Moriarty “Memaw” (Tim); paternal grandfather, Dennis Andres “Papaw”; great grandmother, Joyce Shelton; great grandfather, Howard Elswick; great grandmother, Marcia Sumler (Ed); great grandfather, Greg Sumler (Vicki); great grandparents, Chris and Linda Martin; great grandmother, Connie Savage; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville, 3 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024. The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at the funeral home, prior to her memorial service.
