Floyd Fredrick Patzer

Floyd Frederick Patzer of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 84. Born on December 28, 1937, in Walla Walla, Washington to Fred Patzer, and Lydia Opp Patzer.  Floyd is a retired Army Veteran who served his country for 22 years.  

Floyd enjoyed gardening, reading, the Seahawks and spending time with his family, frequently watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports.  He loved music, and talking to his family and friends on Facetime, "A very useful bit of technology," he liked to say.  

Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, Regina Patzer, and son James E Patzer.  He is survived by his daughters, Diane Nelson (David), and Sonja Meyers; 5 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.  He leaves behind many nephews, and nieces, cousins and friends.  We will all miss him very much.  

Floyd was a private man, so per his wishes, cremation has been chosen after a final goodbye with his family.  Please share any memories of Floyd, and messages of support for the family below.
