Frank Delbert Johnson, 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on January 3, 2022, after battling cancer. The family has chosen cremation and there are no services scheduled at this time.

Frank was born to John & Lucy Johnson on March 17, 1944, and was raised alongside 11 siblings. He served two tours in Vietnam with the Army.  When he returned home, he started his own drywall business as well as a Bowling Pro Shop.  He later married the love of his life, Linda Ann Johnson in 1999.  Frank was an avid bowler and often traveled to compete in tournaments.  In his spare time, Frank could be found playing a round of golf or enjoying his garden.  He coached many youths in Junior Bowling Leagues.  He also enjoyed fishing and boating on the lake.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, John Johnson and Lucy Gray Johnson; his sons, Frank D. Johnson Jr. & Christopher Michael Johnson; his siblings, Elsie Parks, Gertie Mullins, Doris Brumback, David Johnson, Russell Johnson, Norma Johnson, Pauline Neal, Charlie Johnson, Thelma Simpson, Larry Johnson & Helen Johnson. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Linda Johnson; his children,  Deana (Randy) Cook, Eddie (Emily) Johnson, and Paula Spurgeon; his grandchildren, Randy Cook Jr, Ryan Cook, Emily Bethe Cook, Konnor Johnson, Kymber Johnson, Serenity Johnson, & Evan Spurgeon; his great-grandchildren, Braxton Johnson, Aubrey Johnson, Gabe Johnson, Anna Lee  Johnson & Cheyenne Williams, as well as many other family members and friends who will all miss him very much.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Southern Care Hospice, 3602 Northgate Court, New Albany, Indiana, 47150.
