Freleand "Dean" Taylor

Freleand “Dean” Taylor, 76, of Sellersburg, IN, passed away on April 21, 2023 surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 8 PM on Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday at the funeral home. 

Dean was born on June 7, 1946 in Jeffersonville, IN, and was graduate of Jeffersonville High School.  He worked as a Machinist at General Electric for many years before retiring.  He loved to spend his time singing, dancing and entertaining his family and friends.  He was proud of his family and his collection of firearms.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda K. Taylor; second wife, Leann Taylor; parents, Arlin Sr. and Margaret Taylor; sister, Yvonne Letson; brother, Arlin Dean Taylor Jr.

He is survived by his boys, Adam Shane Taylor (Donna), Christopher Ian Taylor (Sarah), and Mike Reed; grandchildren, Christiana Taylor, Dalton Taylor, Raina Taylor and Josie Taylor; and several nieces and nephews, and extended family.
