Golda G. Flowers

Golda G. Flowers, age 100, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 16,2025. She was born on March 1, 1924, in Clinton Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Myrtie Ann Sells Hoots and the late Charlie Thomas Hoots.

Golda loved the Lord, her family, and her church. She loved volunteering and was always sending cards of encouragement. She enjoyed talking on the phone and sharing her faith with everyone she encountered.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Flowers, her sons; Darrell Flowers and Roger Flowers, her grandsons, Christopher Flowers and Timothy Flowers, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Golda leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Larry Flowers (Evelyn), Freda DeGott (Danny), and David Flowers; Grandchildren, Sheila Keen (Sean), David Flowers (Susan), Brian Flowers, Angela Curtis and Melissa Nestor; great-grandchildren, Kim, Ashley, Hunter, Amber, Bradie, Dalton, Brooklyn, Gavin, Kayden, Leland and Rae; great-great-grandchildren, Elyse, Ava, Xavier, Beau, Stone, Landon and Kaiyzen; brother, Carmon Hoots (Elvie); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN on Thursday, January 23, from 11-2:00pm with the funeral service being held at 2pm. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
