Harvey "Ponch" Robinson Jr.

Harvey “Ponch” Robinson Jr., 77, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.  Funeral services for Ponch will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 12-3 PM at the funeral home. 

Ponch was born on February 17, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana to the late, Harvey Robinson Sr. and Edna Jean Basham.  He retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Ponch proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Charlie, Joyce, Judy, Janet and Fred.

Ponch is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carla Robinson; four children, Mark Robinson, James Robinson, Edna Jean Byrd, Leigh Ann Bullitt; two step-sons, Cory Kaiser and Robbie Kaiser; three sisters, Jackie, Phyllis, Connie; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
