Inez Mae (McDonald) Smith, 93, passed away on May 19, 2020. Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care, and private services will be held at a later date.

Inez is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles A. Smith, her parents Charles and Blanche McDonald, 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers, and her dear friend Shirley Baldwin. She is survived by her children, Charles (Sandy) Smith, Judy (Gordon) Crawford, and David (Theresa) Smith, 11 grandkids, 23 great grandkids, and 1 month shy of her first great great grandchild. Also her sister-in-law Helen Horsley and 11 nieces and nephews.

Born in Bethlehem IN was married and raised her family in Jeffersonville. She worked for Greater Clark County Schools Food Services for 21 years. She spent her final days with her dear friends at Riverbend Assisted Living. She was loved deeply by many family and friends and wanted to be remembered as “the Grandmother who laughed”.
