Jacob Hunter James, 23, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on February 3, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 PM on Sunday and from 11 to 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Jacob was the person that could always light up a room with his goofy personality and smiling face. He was the one making everyone laugh, but also the one that made sure everyone was taken care of. With his big heart, Jacob was always the one who took care of everyone else and there for someone when they needed a friend. Jacob is survived by his three brothers that he was extremely close with; Ethan, Isaac (Jasmine), and Lukas that will miss him dearly.
Also survived by his parents, Larry and Jenny James; grandparents, Mike and Sharon Smith; great-grandpa, Maurice Hoskinson; grandmother, Carolyn York; aunts, Sandra Lindsey (Wayne), Suzanne (Steve), Cathy; uncle, Chris (Mary); many cousins, his nephew, Easton James, and the love of his life, Allisha Rainbolt that are going to miss him dearly.
Jacob is preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Gerald York; grandpa, Larry; grandpa and grandma Gross; uncle, Curt Gross; aunt, Debbie Juhasz; cousin, Hannah Taylor; and his best friend, Caleb Mink.
The family requests that all attendees wear a white t-shirt to the visitation and funeral service to represent Jacob’s favorite piece of clothing.
