Jacob Paul Searcy

Jacob Paul Searcy, 25, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on September 25, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Monday and after 10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jacob was born on August 4, 1999 in Louisville, KY, and was a 2018 Graduate of Charlestown High School.  He worked as a diesel mechanic for Mister P’s Express and loved to spend his free time working on his two trucks and hanging out with his family and friends. He was a God-fearing, truck loving, hardworking and kind hearted man. He was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back and help anyone in need. In honor of Jacob, we request that you wear a flannel/plaid shirt and jeans on Tuesday.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Amy Searcy; sister, Shelby Searcy; grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Reiter and Helen Searcy; His aunts, Stacie (Troy), Michelle (Tone) and Robin (David); his cousins, Sam, Kelsey, Alexia and Danielle.

He is preceded by his grandparent, Fred Searcy; best friend Dylan Coulter; and his dog Cheyenne.
