A memorial visitation for James Darrin Murphy, 51, of Jeffersonville, Indiana will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. He passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Darrin was born on March 24, 1971 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He graduated from Jeffersonville High School and became a self-made entrepreneur. He owned and operated several businesses and was a jack of all trades. Darrin loved hunting and fishing and was an outdoor enthusiast. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Darrin is survived by two sons, Christopher Richardson (Danielle Neal), Zack Murphy; his parents, Gloria and James Murphy; a brother, James Neil Murphy; an uncle, Doug Kendall (Angela); a niece, January Grace Murphy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
