Obituary
James Stewart Rumpel, 80, entered Eternal Life Sunday, September 3, 2023.
Jim was born in Clarksville to the late Robert and Thelma Rumpel. He served as a firefighter for the McCulloch Volunteer Fire Department, was a member of Ohio Falls United Methodist Church, and President of the Chemical Workers Union. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and uncle.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Juli Rumpel.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Carol Rumpel; daughter, Jami Rumpel; brother, Robert “Bob” Rumpel; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway. Funeral services in honor of his life will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
