James Michael Wofford

James Michael Wofford, 47, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in Corydon, Indiana. He was born on March 20, 1976, to Malvin A. Wofford and Shirley Cline in Louisville, Kentucky. Jamie loved his family deeply, and was a loving son, brother, dad, and uncle. He was a very dedicated and hardworking man who would do anything for someone in need. Jamie was a bit of a momma’s boy, but always a jokester, and had a great sense of sarcastic humor. He loved to tease and pick on his loved ones, and even give the occasional Wet Willy. Jamie was also a proud graduate of Floyd Central High School, class of '95. In his spare time, Jamie loved to spend time with his children, and being outside hunting, fishing, taking the kids camping, and riding dirt bikes and four wheelers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory, Jamie is survived by his mother, Shirley Cline; father, Malvin A. “Tony” Wofford; 4 children, Paige Wofford, Payton Wofford, Parker Wofford, Cynthia Bowers, and their mother; siblings, Sonja Rawlings (Dave), and Scott Wofford (Angela); nephew, Sean Coffey (Lauren); nieces, Haley Wofford, Taylor Taylor (Curtis), and Kayla Wofford; longtime friends, The Marrs Family; and a host of extended family and close friends.

A funeral service for Mr. James Michael Wofford will be held at 12 PM, on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, May 7, 2023, and prior to the service from 11 AM to 12 PM, at the funeral home. Burial at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery will follow the service.
