Janet C. Meade

Janet C. Meade, 72, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on December 21, 2024. Born on October 25, 1952, Janet was known for her sweet, caring nature and soft heart. She was always available to lend a helping hand and was loved by many. Janet spent many years working as a laundry attendant, a role that allowed her to meet and befriend numerous people. She had a special place in her heart for children and was quick to share a smile and a kind word with everyone she encountered.

She is survived by her siblings, Conga Wells, Roger Meade, and Elaine Meade; grandchildren, Tyler and Trista Meade; and many nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Corda and Leonard Meade; siblings, Martin Meade and Anna Miller; and her son, Lucas Meade.

A service to honor Janet’s life will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
