Jaqueline R. Greene

Jacqueline “Jackie” R. Greene, 54, of Ramsey, Indiana, passed away on August 2, 2025. Born on July 16, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, Jackie brought warmth, humor, and kindness into every space she entered.

For over 12 years, Jackie was a familiar face and a cherished part of the community at the Lucky Shell in Corydon, Indiana. She found great joy in her work—not just in the job itself, but in the lasting friendships she built with customers and coworkers alike. Her easy smile and generous heart left an impression on all who knew her.

Jackie’s proudest role in life was as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved children, Brandon L. Greene, Andrew F. Greene, Carl C. Greene, Ruby N. Greene, Maggie D. Edwards, and Will S. Edwards Jr., who carry forward her strength and compassion. She also leaves behind her dear siblings, Richard Johnson, Carl Cecil, and Kristi Cecil, and a host of loving grandchildren—her precious grandbabies—who will miss the hugs, laughter, and unconditional love of their granny most of all.

Jackie’s life was marked by quiet resilience, a deep love for her family, and a spirit that brightened the lives of those around her.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and no formal services are planned. Her family asks that those who knew and loved Jackie take a moment to remember her in their own way—with a smile, a kind gesture, or a fond memory shared.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
