Jason Askew Obituary

Jason Ray Askew (21) of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away suddenly on July 8, 2021. Jason was born in Miami, Florida on October 21, 1999 to Jason Piquion & Tiffany Thomas. He was raised alongside & is survived by 13 siblings; Jeakwon, Donovan, Aljare, Tobias, Jaheim, Nevaeh, Janique, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Kaleb, Carter, & Hillel.

Jason was a beautiful person with a huge heart who loved to help people. He loved being a husband and all around family man. He enjoyed studying the Bible, gaming with friends, and making music, but most of all he loved being with his family.

He had an extraordinary sense of humor and a wonderful way of looking at life. He boasted a proud “I know-it-all” personality, often having to be brought back down to earth. Many times he had to find his humility. He had a loud but big personality, full of life and joy, always dramatic, and always over the top. He brought such joy to all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Jason attended Jeffersonville High School in Indiana and was in the graduating class of 2019. He went on to study and graduate Mr. P Truck Driving School and following graduation was employed with them as a driver & fueler.

Jason went on to marry the love of his life, Toyquan Askew, and together he helped raise his step children; Ariana Askew & Hillel Askew. He also has a child on the way.

Jason’s hobbies included gaming, watching anime, reading & writing manga, singing, writing and producing his own music, drawing, and playing football and basketball. He was in the process of studying to become a Jehovah’s Witness.

Jason leaves behind to cherish in his memory his parents; Jason Piquion & Tiffany Thomas, his loving wife; Toyquan Askew, his two step children; Ariana Askew & Hillel Askew, his baby yet to be born, as well as a host of siblings, aunts, uncles, & cousins.

There will be a memorial held via Zoom on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Invites to be sent via email to his family & friends.
