Jeanne Ann Morrison

Jeanne Ann Morrison, a woman whose inner beauty radiated as brightly as her outward appearance, entered Eternal Life on Friday, July 5, 2024. Born in Hempstead, New York, to the late Roy and Florence Morrison, Jeanne was a beautiful soul who brought splendor and grace into the lives of all who knew her.

From a young age, Jeanne exhibited a deep love for the natural world, spending countless hours riding horses, a passion that filled her heart with joy and freedom. Her move to LaGrange, Kentucky, allowed her to further cultivate this love, where she poured her heart into creating a stunning flower garden. Her garden was not just a testament to her green thumb but also a reflection of her nurturing spirit, bringing delight and peace to her neighbors, family, and friends.

Jeanne's beauty was not just skin deep; it was her kindness and generosity that truly defined her. She was a beacon of light, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand. Her professional life was marked by significant accomplishments, serving as a commercial leasing vice president for mall outlets. In this role, she displayed remarkable leadership, integrity, and dedication, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike.

In her retirement, Jeanne found joy in the pages of a good mystery novel, with Lil’ Dude by her side, relishing the thrill and intrigue they brought. Her love for stories mirrored her own rich and colorful life, filled with moments of joy, love, and cherished memories.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her brother, Chad Morrison.

She is survived by her siblings, Jim Morrison (Carol) and Marylea Mattingly (Bobby); a niece and three nephews; her dearest lifetime friend, Francee Henry Willis; and her beloved pet Lil’ Dude.

A memorial service will be held in her honor, 1 p.m. September 14, 2024, at Southeast Christian Church – LaGrange. Memorial donations in Jeanne’s honor may be directed to the Oldham County Humane Society. Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville, has been entrusted with arrangements.
