Jeffrey "Jeff" Brian Purlee

Jeffrey “Jeff” Purlee, 48, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on January 18, 2023 at his home. He was
born on August 5, 1974 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Gary and Betty (Singer) Purlee.

Jeff was a dedicated employee for Zappo's Shoe Warehouse. He was an United States Air Force veteran and
enjoyed cooking, was a history buff, liked football and basketball especially, IU & Colts fan. He loved his
faithful canine companion, Marvin.

Jeff was preceded in death by a sister, Tiffany Kelley.

He is survived by his daughter, Emily Purlee; parents, Gary and Betty Purlee; sister, Brandy Grigsby; grandmother, Betty Singer, along with 2 nieces and 2 nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Marvin. 

Scott Funeral Home was entrusted with the care and disposition of Jeff.  There will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 3-6pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
