Jocelyn Mazariegos

Jocelyn Mazariegos, age 17, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024.  She was born on May 9, 2007 in Jeffersonville.  Jocelyn was a beloved member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and had a vibrant spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She loved doing her makeup and was always the life of the party. Jocelyn adored being an aunt and found great joy in spoiling her nephew, Elias. She cherished all things "Hello Kitty," with her favorite color being pink.

Jocelyn is survived by her loving mother, Rubicelda Mazariegos, her devoted sister, Biridiana Mazariegos (Drashawn Redd), her aunts, Blandy Mazariegos and Flori Mazariegos, her uncles, Elmer Thomas and Carlos Mazariegos, and her cherished nephew, Elias Redd.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Jocelyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
