John Douglas “Doug” Page Jr., 71, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Doug was born on April 20, 1954, in Louisville, KY, to the late John D. Page Sr. and Virginia Ruth (Bauer) Page. He spent his career with CSX Railroad, where he worked for three plus decades before retiring.
Doug loved spending time with his loved ones, close friends, and his cat Charlie. A passionate sports fan, he especially enjoyed cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and the Green Bay Packers. In his younger years, Doug could often be found fishing, playing softball for the Okolona Hustlers, golfing, or proudly showing off his 1967 Mustang at local car shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Douglas Page Sr. and Virginia Ruth Page, as well as his sister Blanche (Page) Stallings.
Doug is survived by his only daughter Melissa (Page) Pedigo and son-in-law Zachary Pedigo; his beloved grandsons, Jackson and Henry Pedigo; his sister Carolyn (Page) Heffley; and his nephew Michael Stallings (Karen).
Doug’s family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date, the place and time will be updated on his obituary for his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
