John Eric Patterson

John Eric Patterson, 52, of Corydon, IN, passed away on March 18, 2021. 

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  A short celebration will be held following the visitation at 7:00 PM.

John was born in Louisville, KY, and was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School Class of 1986.  He was an IT Administrator for Jim Butner Auto in Clarksville, IN.  He loved to spend his time outdoors hunting, fishing, and gardening.  He was a barbecue master and an incredible cook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerrold and Ladonne Patterson; cousin, Erich Steilberg; and nephew, Spencer Castile.

He is survived by his two brothers, Gary Patterson (Michelle) and Mark Patterson (Jennifer); nieces and nephews, Kira, Lyndi, Hannah (Andrea), and Joshua; and five great-nephews, Gaige, Liam, Weston, Teddy, and Lucas.

Memorial contributions can be made to O’Bannon Woods State Park.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
