Jose Guadalupe Murillo Figueroa

Jose Guadalupe Murillo Figueroa, 79, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.  Jose was born on December 9, 1941 to the late Reyes Murillo and Maria del Refugio Figueroa in Zacotecas, Mexico.  Jose was an awesome and wonderful man. He always showed his love to his family, especially to his wife, Irene, until the very end.  Jose was a lovely father, father in law and grandpa and was always willing to help anyone. He loved listening to and singing rachera's music. 

In addition to his parents, Jose was preceded in death by 2 siblilngs, Ma. Luisa Murillo and Dolores Murillo; and a daughter in law, Maria del Carmen Caballero.

Left to cherish his memory, Jose leaves behind his wife, Irene Rodriguez; children, Jose Diaz, Fabiola Murillo, Adrian Murillo, Jose Gpe. Murillo, Hector Murillo and Kary Murillo; grandchildren, Alberto Diaz, Giovany Diaz, Adrian Murillo, Gerardo Ramirez, Naomi Murillo, Samantha Murillo, Elihu Bautista, Berenice Diaz, Brenda Murillo, Angel Murillo, Maria Fernandez Murillo, Rubi Ramirez and Uriel Bautista; great grandchild, Matias Diaz; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Jose Murillo Figueroa will be held at 1 PM, on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veteran's Pkway in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 12-1 PM, and also from 2-3 PM following the service at the funeral home.
