Julian "JuJu" Jouet Ryan-Pierce

Julian “JuJu” Jouet Ryan-Pierce, 24, passed away suddenly Friday, February 5, 2021 at home with her mother.

JuJu was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and being outdoors. She particularly enjoyed spending time at the beach. JuJu was an artist and had a love for all types of music.

She is preceded in death by her adoptive father, Franklin M. Shands; father, Jeffrey Shawyer; grandparents, Kenneth and Juanita Ryan; and her uncle, Donnie “Uncle DonDon” Ryan.

JuJu is survived by her mother, Lisa Shands; daughters, Arabella “Bella” McKenzie and Kaylee “KK” Marie, their adoptive parents, Doug and Ashlee Morris; brothers, Tyler Pierce and Phillip Settles; sisters, Leah Walcott and Megan Cardwell and family; nephews, Michael Pierce and Trevor; cousins, Nikkita and DJ Ryan, Melissa Karsner, Mariah Pyke, and multiple other cousins and family abroad.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville. The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm.
