Julie Ann Lawson, a resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the age of 48. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and boundless kindness that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

Julie was a vibrant, boisterous, and fun-loving mother who brought warmth and joy to the lives of all who knew her. Her radiant smile was a beacon of light in any room, and her laughter was infectious. She had an unparalleled ability to make people feel welcomed and valued, regardless of their background. Julie's generous heart knew no bounds, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to strangers in need.

Julie's greatest source of pride and happiness in life was her role as a mother. She poured her heart and soul into her children, providing them with unwavering love, support, and guidance. She was their biggest fan, attending every one of their sporting events and extracurricular activities, cheering them on with unbridled enthusiasm. Her unwavering dedication to her children's dreams and aspirations served as an inspiration to all who knew her. In addition to her devotion to her family, Julie was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Julie will be remembered for her kindness, her infectious laughter, and her indomitable spirit. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends that can never be filled. However, her memory will live on as a reminder of the profound impact one person can have on the lives of others through love, selflessness, and the joy she brought to all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Ray Curry and her beloved grandparents, Walter E. and Laura Marie Jean Smith.

Survivors include her children, Dalton Ray Brown, Devon Edward Krueger, Alyssa LeeAnn Lawson, and Abygail RayAnn Lawson; mother, Phoebe Ann Curry; sister, Mylissa Marie Westbay (Jason); and nephew, Kaden James Westbay. Julie fostered a wonderful relationship with the father to each of her children, Todd Clifton Brown, Dean Edward Krueger, and Michael Wayne Lawson, along with a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Visitation will be held 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the funeral home.

Julie’s legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her children, who will carry forward her love, compassion, and the cherished memories of a wonderful mother who brightened their world in countless ways. May she rest in peace, forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Scott Funeral Home to offset the cost of funeral expenses.
