Kamm Joseph VanGilder "Kammo"

Kamm Joseph VanGilder “Kammo”, 15, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 4 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 1-4 PM and following the service until 8 PM at the funeral home. 

Kamm was born on June 4, 2006 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  He was attending Charlestown High School as a sophomore and he was on the varsity wrestling team.  Kamm enjoyed the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Charlestown High School and he had a great love for the outdoors.  He enjoyed riding four wheelers, hunting and fishing.  Kamm had dreams of graduating high school and attending college for engineering so he could take over the family business.  He was a wonderful child that will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

Kamm was preceded in death by his grandpa, Jimmy VanGilder.

He is survived by his loving parents, Brandon and Kimberly VanGilder; five siblings, Elyse, Ava, Xavier, Beau, Zeke; grandparents, Roxanna VanGilder, Missy and Allen Grether; his cousins, Dylan and Carmen Robinson; and his aunt and uncle, Casey Robinson and Glenn Robinson.
