Karen Annette Davis, 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on June 13, 2025, in Jeffersonville, In. Karen, affectionately known as KD, was born on January 29, 1951in Jeffersonville, In., to Katie M Davis (Stum).
At an early age, Karen professed her faith in Christ and was baptized at Wesley United Methodist Church. Karen retired from Duke Energy after many years of service. She was presently employed at Unique Management until her health began to fail.
A woman with a beautiful spirit, Karen loved singing in the choir. Karen was a devoted Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher for many years. Karen was known for her fried chicken, cheese balls, and her famous chocolate cake that everyone loved. She found joy in traveling, exploring new places, and was always down for a road trip. Especially with her granddaughter Kyla when they would go visit her favorite cousin Caesar. She cherished every moment spent with her family, creating countless memories that will be forever treasured. Karen, whenever her family
needed her, was always willing and able to help in any way she could.
Karen is survived by her loving mother, Katie D. Stum, son Troy Davis, brother Douglas (Vitta) Davis, step-sisters, Gwendolyn Martin, Brenda (Brad) Anderson, Betty (Derrick) Blair, and Joy (Derrick) Ray; two grandchildren, Jaren Davis and Kyla Davis; one great-granddaughter, Aria Davis, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and the Birthday Girls, whom she loved, and special cousins Donna Davis and Ashley Davis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.
