Kathleen "Kathy" (Tracey) Davin, passed away and entered Eternal Life on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
Kathy was born in New Haven, Connecticut to the late John and Evelyn Tracey. She worked as the receptionist for Kentucky Fried Chicken Headquarters for many years and was Catholic by faith.
Kathy embodied the essence of love and commitment as a beloved wife, nurturing mother, and cherished Nan. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and endless warmth that embraced all who knew her. She lived with a grace that extended beyond words, shaping countless lives with her kindness and gentle guidance.
A devout Catholic, Kathy's faith was the cornerstone of her being, offering her solace and strength through life's journey. Her unwavering belief illuminated the path for others, serving as a beacon of hope and inspiration in the lives she touched.
One of Kathy's greatest joys was exploring the world, relishing in both domestic and international travels. Her adventurous spirit found solace in discovering new cultures, embracing diverse landscapes, and creating enduring memories with her beloved family by her side. Among her most treasured moments were the family vacations spent by the shore, where the laughter of generations intermingled with the sound of the waves.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jim Davin; children, Dan Davin (Lisa) and Alicia Schembari (Rosario); grandchildren, Connor Davin, John Schembari (Makenzie), and Brian Schembari (Rachel); great grandchildren, Brody, Logan, and Russell Schembari; siblings, Marilyn Sheehan and Gary Tracey (Sharon).
A private inurnment will occur at a later date in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville, has been entrusted with arrangements.
