Katie May Thompson

Katie May Thompson, 21, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on June 12, 2021. 

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

Katie was born on April 8, 2000 in Jeffersonville, IN, and graduated from Rock Creek Academy in Sellersburg, IN.  She was an outstanding student/athlete who played basketball and volleyball.  She loved to take care of people and always put others first. 

Katie is survived by her parents, Donald and Leigh Ann Thompson; fiancé, Decorise Major; two sons, Elliott Major and A.J. Major; grandparents, Bob and Shirley Barley, and Virginia Spond; siblings, Michael Thompson (Shana), Luke Thompson, Josh Thompson, Lynsey Thompson and Leah Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
