Keith Johnson Obituary

Keith Johnson was born the 2nd child to Garland Johnson and Gertrude Johnson (Ward) on March 25, 1950, in Louisville, KY.

He accepted Christ at an early age.  He was a faithful employee of Pillsbury for more than 25 years until his retirement.  Keith was a graduate of Shawnee High School and attended Kentucky State University.  Keith had many loves including photography, painting, mixing up hot sauce masterpieces.  He also enjoyed kayaking on his favorite spot on the lake and riding his bike across the bridge to Louisville. He loved chatting with his sister and niece in California and visits with his daughter and grandchildren in Indianapolis.  He loved chatting with neighbors that he called friends.  The sunsets he captured are a true testament of how beautiful he viewed life and cherished the moments around him as fleeting.  He will be missed by all and many.

He leaves to cherish his legacy,  his daughter, Ericka Johnson-Quarles (Jeff); grandson, Isaiaah Quarles; granddaughter,  Imari Quarles; sister, Beverly Butler; niece, Kali Rector and a host of friends that will miss him dearly.

A memorial gathering for Keith will be Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN from 11am-1pm.

In lieu of the flowers the family would like donations to be made in honor of Kenneth to the National Breast Cancer Foundation,  2600 Network Blvd Suite #300, Frisco, TX 75034.
