Kendall "Scott" Frakes

Kendall “Scott” Frakes, age, 66, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mother, Natalie V. Cooper Frakes, his father, Chester “Chet” Lee Frakes Jr., and his sister, Paula Frakes Williams. 

Scott found his greatest joy in life with a fishing pole in his hands. He aspired to be a competitive fisherman. The water was his sanctuary, a place where he found calmness, clarity and peace.  

Scott is survived by his daughter, Amanda Yates (Chris Powell), two grandchildren, Ashten Yates and Hunter Yates (Destany), and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Chester “Lee” Frakes III and his niece, Lori Frakes. He also leaves behind his devoted caregiver and friend, Darcy Wilson (Ava) and his dear friend Bobby Stone. 

A celebration of life will be held at 3500 Stonecreek Circle, Jeffersonville, IN. The date and time are to be determined. As soon as we have the information we will let everyone who would like to attend know.
