Kevin R. Standiford, 64, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, in Sellersburg, Indiana. He was born on August 3, 1957, to Ronald Standiford Sr., and the late Phyllis Hoke Eden in Salem, Indiana. Kevin was a member of the graduating class of 1974 from Silver Creek High School, and a butcher at the Jeffersonville Kroger for over 20 years. He was a loving, kind, and caring family man. Kevin was especially devoted to his grandkids. He would let his granddaughters Abi and Caitlin paint his fingers and toes because his grandkids were his life. Kevin was very outgoing with a great sense of humor, and was always very reliable and dependable for his family. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved spending time in the woods fishing with Jacob and Logan, hunting with Kenny, hiking and landscaping. He was also a great mechanic and in his spare time he could be found doing one of many passion projects, such as, rebuilding and modifying old cars and trucks, or working on lawnmowers, or listening to his favorite '70's Classic Rock. Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, Phyllis Eden, Kevin is preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 32 years, Betty Standiford.
Left to cherish his memory, Kevin leaves behind his daughter, Faith Priddy; son, Michael Standiford; father, Ronald Standiford Sr. (Arnell); brothers, Ronald Standiford Jr. (Debbie), and Dusty Standiford; grandchildren, Chelsea Fountain, Abigail Standiford, Jacob Standiford, Caitlin Priddy, Logan Priddy, and Mason Jamison; 4 great grandchildren; nieces/nephews, Kenny Standiford, Cindy Daniel (Carl), Stingray Miller, and David Borman Jr.; and a host of extended family and close friends.
