Kristin Sue Juliot

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a cherished member of our community, Kristin Sue Juliot, who departed from us on May 14, 2024, following a sudden illness. Kristin's presence illuminated the lives of those around her, leaving behind memories that will forever be treasured.

Born and raised in Jeffersonville, Kristin embodied the spirit of her hometown with pride and grace. She had a special affinity for exploring the open road, often found cycling alongside kindred spirits, finding solace in the rhythm of the pedals and the beauty of the journey. Yet, it was in the quiet moments at home, surrounded by her beloved cats, that Kristin found true contentment and peace.

However, Kristin's greatest joy and purpose stemmed from her unwavering dedication to her students. As a 1st and 2nd grade teacher, she poured her heart and soul into nurturing young minds, instilling in them not only knowledge but also compassion, curiosity, and kindness. Her classroom was a haven of warmth and encouragement, where every child felt valued and supported. Kristin's commitment to her students went beyond the classroom walls, extending into the lives of each child she touched, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Kristin's passing leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. Yet, as we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the countless lives she enriched with her love and light. May her memory continue to inspire us to live with the same passion, kindness, and dedication that she exemplified every day.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jaime Huffman; and step-father, Bob Worrall.

Survivors include her mother, Natalie Ann Worrall; brother, Danny Huffman (Andrea); niece and nephews, Kennedy, Blake, and Austin; aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Alan Snyder.

Kristin’s body was laid to rest in a private graveside service. A memorial service in honor of her life will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at First Christian Church, 3209 Middle Road – Jeffersonville. Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the First Christian Church Trust Fund.
