Larry Wayne Bloat

Clarksville, IN- Larry Wayne Bloat, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Diversicare of Providence, New Albany, IN.

Larry was born on September 2, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late John Allen Jr. and Betty Jean (Ayers) Bloat. A native of Jeffersonville, he attended Jeff High School, a fan of the U of L Cards, enjoyed watching them, the NFL, and old western movies on TV. He enjoyed the time spent with family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael, and many dear family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is Larry’s longtime significant other, Pat. His children, Ginger Bloat, Louisville, and Eric Bloat (Jaime), Louisville, and his grandchildren, Chaz and Kristen Bloat, Louisville. His brother, John, Texas, and sister, Sharon, Jeffersonville. As well as nieces and nephews, Lori Blanton (Joey) and sons Joshua (Caitlin), Micah, Joel, and great-great niece, Addyson Blanton, and the mother of his children, Carol Bloat, along with friends and family.

We are so very blessed for having Larry in our lives. We will miss you and always hold you close in our hearts. Godspeed my Brother.
