deep loyalty, and an adventurous spirit, Larry's presence brought warmth and joy
to all who knew and met him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Larry was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee, he always held his southern
roots close to his heart and was proud of his heritage. He carried the values of
hard work, dedication, and love for family throughout his life. He served his

patriotism. He received the National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service
Metal and the Vietnam Campaign Metal.
A lifelong fan of University of Louisville basketball, Larry's love for the game was
unmatched. Whether he was traveling to away games, cheering from the stands
at Final Four appearances, or debating plays with friends, his passion for the
Cardinals was infectious. His Sundays in the fall were dedicated to his Pittsburgh
Steelers, as he never missed an opportunity to root for his team.
He also held a deep appreciation for classic Ford cars, a love that followed him
through his career at the Ford Motor Company Louisville Plant, from which he
proudly retired after 30 years of service. He always encouraged family members
and friends to buy Fords! He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church in
Louisville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Goodman-Tillman and his daughter,
