Larry B. White

Funeral services for Larry B White, 81, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy, in Jeffersonville, with a private burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 PM and on Wednesday prior to the service from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. 

Larry was born on November 16, 1943, in Statesville, North Carolina, to the late Dolphus and Ruth White.  A 1962 graduate of Jeffersonville High School, he retired after 30 years from Commonwealth Capital Holding Insurance in Louisville and was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Jeffersonville and of First Christian Church in Jeffersonville.  Larry loved his late wife Marilyn and three children, along with his puppy, Molly. He cheered on his beloved Kentucky Wildcats year after year and enjoyed golf and corvette cruising in his retirement. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Marilyn Lee White; and his brother, Andy White; and sister, Nancy Morrison.  He is survived by his three children: Jeff White (Penny); Lori Stinson (David); Dawn White (Lei); three grandchildren: Cama Stillman (Ben); Dylan Stinson; Katelyn Stinson; and four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Brown (Spencer); Terry Lee Sullivan; Kylia Wilson (Rich); and Tara Brooks; and nine beautiful great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to First Christian Church 3209 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN. 47130. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
