Lois Colleen Hollingsworth

Lois Colleen Hollingsworth, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024. A beacon of kindness and generosity, Lois outlived her family but left behind a legacy of love and friendship that touched everyone who knew her.

Lois was a cherished friend and neighbor, especially to the residents of Maple Court in Clarksville, where her warmth and compassion made her a pillar of the community. A dedicated member of Church of God in New Albany and later First Southern Baptist Church of Clarksville Lois lived her faith daily through her acts of service and unwavering care for others.

Her career as a nurse's aide exemplified her heart for helping others, and she provided comfort and care to countless individuals over the years. Her friends and neighbors extend heartfelt gratitude to Southern Care Hospice, Hillcrest Village, and Norton Clark Hospital for their compassionate care and support during Lois’s final years.

Visitation for Lois will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville, followed by a celebration of her life at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
