Marjorie S. (Sanders) Morgan

Marjorie S. Morgan, 89, passed away on January 9, 2021, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, IN.  Marjorie worked outside the home at J.C. Penney’s for many years.  She cared deeply for her children and grandchildren and spent many years as a homemaker and caregiver for her husband.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, IN, and was also a longtime member of the Women’s Circle.  She loved to read and books were her joy throughout her life. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Elmo Sanders and her husband of 70 years, Randall R. Morgan.

Marjorie leaves to cherish her memories her two daughters, Sandy (Carl) Koetter and Anita (Tom) Brown; four grandchildren, Tara (Kevin) Reed, Christi (Jeff) Goldman, Brendan Brown, Nathan (Amanda) Brown and five great-grandchildren, Josh Goldman, Caleb Goldman, Landon Reed, Jovie Brown and Iris Brown.

The family would like to thank all the caring and compassionate staff at Autumn Woods and Southern Care Hospice Services.

A private service is being conducted due to the COVID virus. Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, IN is in charge of arrangements.
