Mark Joseph Pfeil

Mark Joseph Pfeil, 62, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on January 20, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  His was a loving husband, a fantastic father, mentor to many and his family meant the world to him.  Mark was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed a good cup of coffee while listening to classic rock.  He loved the smell of nature, doing anything outdoors and he had the ability to fix or repair anything.  Mark was always there to lend a helping hand to his neighbors, friends, co-workers and anyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert John Pfeil, Jr. and nephew, Andrew Pfeil.  

Mark is survived by his wife, Anna Pfeil; daughter, Jessica (John Leazenby) Pfeil; mother, Natalie Pfeil; siblings, Linda (Doug) Willer, Lydia Pfeil, William (Margie) Pfeil, Valerie (Charlie) Ross and Eve (Frank) Noguera; mother-in-law, Alma Berry; brother-in-law, David Berry and his loyal four legged companions, Jasmine, Gordon and Dan-Dan.

A memorial gathering for Mark will be Sunday, January 26, 2020, from 1pm-3pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana, Norton Healthcare Cancer Institute or any local animal shelter of your choice.
