Mary “Susan” Berkinshaw, age 78, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Susan was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Dan and Mabel Miller. She was a graduate of Edison High School in Tulsa and University of Tulsa, and an avid Golden Hurricane fan. She was a lifetime member of East Side Christian Church in Tulsa, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years, and continued her faithful service following its merger with Forest Park Christian Church.
For more than 25 years, Susan worked at Lexus of Tulsa, where she was admired by her coworkers, who looked forward to their annual birthday cookies. Her kindness, integrity, and caring nature touched the lives of everyone she met.
Above all, Susan was a beloved Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Susan, who created treasure hunts for her grandchildren and World Famous Hot Chocolate. She treasured her family and was most proud of the love they shared.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Berkinshaw (Amy), Laurie Skaggs (Jeremy), and Stewart Berkinshaw (Mallory); grandchildren, Reagan Maheen (Kazi), Jarrett Skaggs (Julia), Dana Skaggs, Hailey Berkinshaw (Stephen), Hayden Skaggs, Libby Skaggs, Blair Berkinshaw, and Bryce Berkinshaw; siblings, Jim Miller (Judy) and Sally Kibler (Ken); along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is also survived by her cherished bonus sister, Diane Collier (Bill).
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Forest Park Christian Church, 9102 S. Mingo Rd, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
