Matthew Harrison

Matthew Steven Harrison, a resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Monday, April 21, 2025. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he was 55 years old. Matt was a star player on the soccer team of Lower Dauphin High School and he graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1991. He worked as a dispatcher for Trans-Continental Systems, Inc.

In addition to following soccer and other sports, Matt was a great cook, he enjoyed playing the drums and he had a life-long love of fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, John Harrison, and is survived by his mother, Rebecca Alford and brother, Andrew Harrison. He was a much-loved son, brother, uncle and nephew. A celebration of Matt’s life will be held at Your Place Restaurant in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, April 30, from 6 to 8:00 pm.
