Michael Thomas Forsee

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Thomas Forsee announces his passing on August 14, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born July 16, 1948 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Norman E. Forsee, MD and Mary Frances Forsee, RN, Mike is survived by his three loving children; daughter Michaela Forsee-Weaver and Ashley Forsee McCormack (Justin); son, Christopher Forsee (Courtney); grandchildren, Devin Arnold (Adeline), Corey Arnold (Natalie), Drew Weaver, Dylan McCormack; niece, Hillary Williams (Travis); former wife, Judith Meredith; and his loyal dog, Cheyenne. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother, Dr. Donald Forsee.

Mike was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School class of 1966, Indiana University 1970, and the University of Louisville School of Law. He was an Eagle Scout, member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a faithful Democrat, member of the Clark County and Indiana State Bar Associations and has served on numerous Jeffersonville boards and committees. He has practiced law in Clark County for over 50 years and has dedicated his life to helping those in need and giving back to his community.

Mike’s greatest passions included fishing, cheering on the Hoosiers, and spending time with his family.

Visitation for family and friends to pay their respects will be held 12 – 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville. Funeral services will be celebrated at the conclusion of receiving hours, 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
