Michael P Gruver

A visitation for Michael “Mike” Gruver, 65, of Clarksville, Indiana, will be held on, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 4-8PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 10am- 1pm prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 1:00, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Mike passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1956 in New Albany to Anna Gruver and the late Sonney Gruver. Mike was a proud veteran of the Air Force, where he served for 4 years. He loved golf and fishing. Mike was very family oriented, most cherishing his grandchildren; and would do anything for anybody. He was quite the character and a straight-shooter. Mike was a man of God and kept his faith. 

He is survived by his children, Nick (Brandy) Gruver and Allison (Christopher) West; his grandchildren, Breauna, Kendrick, McKenzie, and Michael; his mother, Anna; sister, Lynn; niece, Misty; and a host of other family and friends.
