Nancy R. Gabhart Noble, 86, passed away February 18, 2026 at Charlestown Place at New Albany following a brief illness.
She was born May 8, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late G.E. “Doc” and Rose Fox Gabhart.
In her early life Nancy enjoyed riding horses, singing and playing music. Throughout her life, she continued to play music and sing in the church choir. In her later years, Nancy loved RV traveling with Don and her beloved dog, Doc. As part of their travels, Nancy and Don were members of Church Builders.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Donald G. Noble, daughter Dr. Nancy Elizabeth Warner, D.C., stepson Michael G. Noble, and grandson Micah Brown.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Greg Armstrong, D.C. (Sharon), and Mark Brown (Karen); stepdaughters Shelly Smith (Steve), Anne Stamper, Cindy Withrow; grandchildren Jacob, Thomas, Kayla, Kelsey, Alexandra, Tyler, Trey, Jalen, Jaye, Madeline, Christian, Taylor, Page; great grandchildren Scotty, Olivia, Hailey, Jaxson, Eliza, Aydan, Emerson, Ty, Mahayla, Holly, Caleb, Neriah, Zeke, Fynnlee, Zhane, Caycee, Eliza, Jesslynn; son-in-law Jack Warner, and daughter-in-law Chrissy Noble.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held Saturday March 7, 2026 from 1-4 pm at Calvary Christian Church, 605 S. Norman, Drive, Sellersburg, Indiana with a memorial service to follow.
The family would to thank St. Croix Hospice and the staff at Charlestown Place at New Albany for the supportive care given to Nancy. Family requests expressions of sympathy be sent to St. Croix Hospice.
